SUBSTITUTE OCTOBER NEWSLETTER
The computer that has my newsletter program is out of commission and will be for several weeks.  So this is the only way I knew to get out the October Newsletter.  Hopefully my other computer will be back up soon.  Editor
  • Recap of the September meeting;  There were 34 members present.  Several members were at the Pigeon Forge and Charlotte events. The club finances are sound.
  • Remember:  The meal for the October meeting on Oct. 8 will be provided by the club.  We will have pizza and pasta.  All you are asked to bring is a dessert.
  • The Sumter Cruisers Car Show is October 24.  All members should be in attendance to help with this show.  Assignment of duties will be made at our meeting or the morning of the show.  We will line our host cars up around the North and East perimeter of the show area.  Plan to arrive by 7 AM.
  • Dues for the 2009-2010 club year are due November 1.  See Harvey.
  • Dave McDuffie says if you are going to the Sweet Potato Festival in Darlington on Oct. 10, that we can meet at Burger King on Calhoun St at 8 AM and leave at 8;15.
  • Let's remember Greg George in our prayers during his tour in Iraq for the next 6-8 months
  • Please remember Maria McLeod in your prayers and thoughts.  Maria's Mother is very ill and battling cancer.
